Care Catalogue / Root Canal Therapy
Saving the natural tooth, one careful stage at a time
Root canal therapy has a reputation it doesn't deserve. Done in properly staged sittings with the right anaesthesia, it relieves pain — it doesn't cause it.
How treatment is staged
- 1Diagnosis — confirming infection or damage in the tooth's pulp with an exam and X-ray.
- 2Access & cleaning — removing the infected tissue and shaping the canal under local anaesthesia.
- 3Obturation — sealing the cleaned canal to prevent re-infection.
- 4Crown fitting — protecting the treated tooth so it can handle normal biting force again.
Every stage is reviewed with you before the next one is booked — the Treatment Plan Tracker on our end keeps that progress visible rather than buried in a file.

Deep decay, cracked teeth, or persistent pain from an infected nerve.
Before you come in
Bring any recent X-rays — it saves a sitting if we already have a clear view of the tooth.
